Regular Season MVP 2025-26 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder: -140 What to know: SGA is second in the NBA in scoring (31.8), and his Thunder have the best record in the NBA. He is also in the midst of a remarkable streak of 121 consecutive 20-point games, the second-most in NBA history, trailing only Wilt Chamberlain (126). SGA is currently sidelined with an abdominal strain. He expected to return within a week. Nikola Jokić, Nuggets: +270 What to know: After missing 16 games due to injury, Jokić is back in the mix, and has played 10 straight games for the Nuggets. However, Denver is just 4-6 in those contests. Jokić recently passed Oscar Robertson for the second-most triple-doubles in NBA history. On the season, he's averaging 28.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists. If he misses more than one game the rest of the season, he will not be MVP-eligible. Cade Cunningham, Pistons: +500 What to know: Cunningham's Pistons have the second-best record in the NBA, and are the top team in the East behind their star point guard, who is second in the league in assists per game and averaging over 25 points for the second consecutive season. Just two weeks ago, Cunningham was at +2000. Don't look now. Victor Wembanyama, Spurs: +2500 What to know: The Spurs are a force to be reckoned with behind their star center. They have the second-best record in the West and are within arm's length of SGA and OKC. Wemby leads the NBA in blocks per game and is the favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year. Jaylen Brown, Celtics: +3000 What to know: The Cs have been without Jayson Tatum all season, but it hasn't slowed them down a lick, namely due to Brown's dominance. He is averaging 29.2 points, seven rebounds and 4.2 assists on the year, and Boston is second in the East.
