Newmarket

Placed just over three lengths behind Moonfall at Royal Ascot last month, he was carrying 5lb more that day though whereas on Saturday carries 2lb less with a 7lb shift likely to see more.

Elarak
Exactly the type to win this kind of race, has gone close in most of his races and despite carrying one of the top weights is in good hands with Billy Loughnane on board this course winner.
Al Hudaiba & Al Hudaiba (forecast)
Now it’s time for the Group 2 Superlative Stakes, contested over 7f on the July course.
Ryan Moore is on board Abraham Lincoln again who impressed on debut and the 13:40 at Newmarket could also boost his form as Haffner placed second races in the first on the Saturday.
An easy choice but does come up against it with Al Hudaiba who has two wins including over course and distance.
Charlie Appleby and William Buick do so well at Newmarket, I find it hard to go against the Godolphin horse here who’s won over course and distance twice with form confirmed up to a mark currently of 98, where Abraham Lincoln could be anything.
The pair will surely be 1-2 in any order so it’s wise to do an exacta.
Pikachu stood out last month at Royal Ascot but I think he’s best followed when stepping up in trip in due course.
Satono Reve
Venetian Sun is a huge price but she steps up to face horses and gelding as well as older rivals who’ve got incredible form in Group 1’s, that said so does this filly.
She receives an allowance for being a filly and being a youngster so can’t be discounted at this distance.
But 6f sprints are often dictated by turning up on the day and sometimes these older horses just have that bit of experience and just do turn up on the day.
Double Rush has been a huge winner, three in a row in fact this season including twice over course and distance and there’s a suspicion he’s just still improving after such a great consistent effort.
But Satono Reve was just a nose behind Almeraq in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes last month, and ought to be fighting for another big run as the jet setter from Japan has some great wins to his name.
