The Twins are acquiring veteran right-hander Dean Kremer from the Orioles, a source told MLB.com’s Matthew Leach on Friday.
The Orioles are receiving Minor League outfielder Jhomnardo Reyes — the Twins’ No. 24 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline — in the deal, which has not been confirmed by the clubs.
Kremer, 30, has a career 4.37 ERA in 133 Major League games (130 starts) across seven seasons, but has struggled this year, posting a 6.50 ERA in seven starts. He suffered a right quad strain in late April that sidelined him until July 1.
Kremer is under club control through 2027.
