Christian Norgaard is reportedly set to sign for Everton from Arsenal.
Norgaard only joined the Gunners from London rivals Brentford last summer in a £15million deal.
The Denmark international made seven appearances in their Premier League title-winning campaign and started on just one occasion.
He also featured just 20 times in all competitions amid competition with Declan Rice, Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi.
Now he looks on course for a move to Merseyside, as The Athletic say Everton have reached an agreement in principle for his signing.
The deal is said to be worth £7m, and the 32-year-old will undergo a medical next week.
Norgaard will be Everton’s second midfield signing of the summer after Hayden Hackney joined from Middlesbrough for £25m.
Although Arsenal are set to make a loss on Norgaard, they are close to completing a move for Bruno Guimaraes.
talkSPORT understands the Gunners are closing in on a deal to sign the Newcastle United captain for more than £75m.
