Luke Littler could find himself at risk of a rule break if he opts to wear his new custom-made trainers during competition.
The two-time world champion says he may look to debut the snazzy Nike Air Force Ones on the PDC circuit.
The black trainers contain striking yellow laces and stripes around the back. They also display a purple Nike swoosh with his nickname ‘The Nuke’ written in yellow on the side of the trainer.
There is also a small World Championship trophy featured just above the laces to honour his 2025 success at the Ally Pally.
The 19-year-old sensation is no stranger to wearing sports attire during his matches and is often seen sporting a pair of Mallet London.
But now he is considering a custom-made pair of trainers as he prepares for a season-defining period.
“I’ve had these for ages. Somebody made them for me, Luke the Nuke Air Forces,” he said on the Konstantin YouTube channel.
“Some screen time on telly on Sky. I even have the World Championship trophy on them from 2025.
“They are just for display. Maybe they might come to the tour soon.”

But sporting the stylish kicks could see him reprimanded.
That’s because Professional Darts Players Association (PDPA) rules say that no trainers can be worn during matches.
The guidelines state: “The Player shall wear smart trousers and footwear, i.e. the Player shall not wear trainers, jeans or other casual trousers on stage at a PDC Event.

“The Player may not wear headwear other than for religious reasons. If the Player wishes to deviate from the Dress Code then the Player shall seek the approval of the Tournament Director no later than four hours before each relevant Match.”
Littler will be wary of steering clear of any unnecessary headlines as he heads into the critical phase of the season.
Therefore, he may instead opt to swerve his bling footwear.
The Warrington thrower is on course to complete an unprecedented clean sweep of all the PDC majors this season.
He made headlines last month when he scooped yet another World Matchplay title to take his career earnings to a record £3.1million in ranking prize money.
His 18-9 victory over Gerwyn Price extended his winning streak to 29 consecutive victories in matches featuring 20 legs or more.

Therefore, his last defeat over that distance came in the 2024 World Championship final against Luke Humphries.
Littler remains the current world No.1, a position he has held since winning his semi-final clash with Danny Noppert at the Grand Slam of Darts last November.
