Clark was called up to Detroit ahead of the MLB trade deadline. He has helped provide a huge spark for this team. He has slashed .293/.370/.463 with an .833 OPS since making his major league debut. The Tigers are 8-2 in the 10 games Clark has played.
McGonigle, meanwhile, is a frontrunner for AL Rookie of the Year. He has slashed .288/.391/.431 this year with 12 home runs and 48 runs batted in. He was one of the most hyped prospects in baseball for some time. And he is more than living up to the hype right now.
The Tigers have some of the brightest young stars in baseball driving them forward. Detroit, much like Clark and McGonigle, hopes they continue playing for this team together for a long time to come.
