Best DFS picks for Falcons at Buccaneers in Week 15

Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season kicks off tonight with an NFC South showdown featuring Atlanta Falcons visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tampa Bay enters as a 4.5-point home favorite, with an over/under of 44.5. The Bucs have lost four of their last five games and are now in a dogfight with the Panthers for first place in the division. Meanwhile, the Falcons were officially eliminated from playoff contention last week and will try to play spoiler on the road tonight.

Below, we will take a look at the best DFS plays for this Thursday night showdown.

Captain’s Picks

Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons (FLEX $13,000, CPT $19,500)

Robinson had a generally solid individual outing in the Falcons’ 37-9 blowout loss to the Seahawks on Sunday, taking 20 carries for 86 rushing yards on the ground with his lone blemish being a red-zone fumble in the third quarter. That performance officially put him over 1,000 yards for the season, marking the second straight year where he has crossed the 1K threshold.

The dynamic third-year star trails only Christian McCaffrey in receiving yards among running backs this season and those skills catching the ball out of the backfield could spell danger for the Bucs tonight. Tampa Bay has been the most vulnerable defense against passing-catching RB’s this season, yielding a league-high 701 receiving yards along with four receiving touchdowns. B-Rob lit the Bucs up for six receptions, 100 yards, and a touchdown through the air way back in their season opener and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him go off yet again.

Bucky Irving, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FLEX $12,600, CPT $18,900)

The Buccaneers are relieved to finally be getting their key offensive weapons back on the field just in time for the playoff push and Irving is one of those guys they are glad to have back in the saddle. The second-year back from Oregon compiled 55 rushing yards, 26 receiving yards, and a touchdown in Sunday’s 24-20 loss to the Saints, earning exactly 15.1 fantasy points in DFS for a second straight week.

Irving has been an effective fantasy asset when he’s been on the field with an average of 15.9 points through six games and similar to Robinson, that has been tied to his presence as as a pass-catcher. They’re going to keep feeding him the rock by any means necessary and that should make him a worthwhile captain’s option once again.

Mike Evans, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FLEX $10,600, CPT $15,900)

Evans has been activated off injured reserve after missing the last two months with a broken collarbone and is returning just in time to help the team try to secure their fifth straight NFC South division title. The veteran All-Pr0 went down with the injury during their Week 7 loss to the Lions on October 20 and it further compounded his already injury-riddled season as he had missed the three games prior with a hamstring strain.

As CBS Sports’ JP Acosta pointed out, Baker Mayfield’s numbers shoot up when Evans is on the field and one would imagine that he’d want to get the ball to the veteran as often as possible in his return. On top of that, Evans is typically productive on Thursday nights with an average of 5.2 catches and 71.4 yards through 11 career games. The green light is on for him as an immediate captain’s selection upon his return.

Value flex plays

Tyler Allgeier, RB, Atlanta Falcons (FLEX $7,400, CPT $11,100)

Allgeier is averaging a touchdown roughly every other week and is going up against a Bucs defense that has been a bit soft against the run in the red zone, allowing 3.5 yards per carry in that area of the field. It would not be a surprise to see him punch in his ninth rushing score of the season tonight and he’s definitely a prime Flex choice for tonight’s divisional showdown.

Dylan Drummond, WR, Atlanta Falcons (FLEX $4,800, CPT $7,200)

The Falcons have nothing to play for the rest of the season, so that gives them an excuse to kick the tires on some of their other weapons on the depth chart to see what they have. That has already been the case with Drummond over the past few weeks as he had three receptions for 21 yards in Sunday’s loss tot the Rams. The third-year wideout notably logged 61% of the offensive snaps in that game, so I’d start getting familiar with him as they close out the year.

Sean Tucker, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FLEX $4,200, CPT $6,300)

Tucker’s playing time has predictably plummeted with Irving back in action, but he was still able to make an impact in Sunday’s loss to the Saints, taking seven carries for 29 yards and a the team’s only second-half touchdown of the afternoon. He’s proven himself as a reliable third backfield option behind Irving and Rachaad White and he’ll continue to pop in from time to time, especially in the red zone.
