The Browns’ hilarious two-point conversion attempt put the ‘T’ in ‘tank’

There was a surprising amount on the line for the Browns this Sunday. With news the Saints had upset the Buccaneers there was a chance to jump up multiple spots in the draft order, especially playing against the Titans who narrowly held onto the No. 1 spot. The real question was: How can you effectively tank for a better draft pick while also allowing Shedeur Sanders to shine?

You simply take him off the field when it matters and put it in Quinshon Judkins’ hands.

Sanders really put Cleveland in a spot to win this one, to his credit. Throwing for 364 yards and three touchdowns, Shedeur capped it all off with a beautiful throw to the back corner of the end zone to Harold Fannin’ Jr — meaning all the Browns needed was the two-point conversion to keep the game alive.

Instead of calling something like “literally anything in the playbook that doesn’t involve a direct snap to Quinshon Judkins, who then has a brain fart,” Cleveland went for the often ignored play of “a direct snap to Quinshon Judkins, who then had a brain fart.” It ensured the Titans could kneel out the clock, secure their second win of the season, and catapult the Browns into the No. 4 spot in the draft.

Truly keeping the tank dream alive.
