Justin Herbert has his first ring, and yet, it’s not come from his work with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Herbert announced his engagement to Grammy-nominated singer Madison Beer in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
The post included Herbert on his knee holding a ring box in front of Beer, who was crouched with the caption reading: “Meet my fiance.”
The Chargers reposted the images across their social media accounts, and captioned it: “JH+MB 4EV. Congrats, Justin and Madison.”
The couple were first spotted together last August, on the set of a music video Beer was shooting at the time.
Across the 2025 season, Beer was a regular at Chargers games with some suggesting her impact was turning Herbert into an MVP candidate.
The pair attended a Los Angeles Dodgers World Series game together, and have also been spotted sitting courtside at Crypto.com Arena supporting the Los Angeles Lakers.
Herbert missed the second-half of the Chargers’ voluntary offseason program to be on tour with his now fiance.
Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh even offered to give his quarterback a ride to the airport upon hearing he would miss training.
Herbert and the Chargers begin training camp on July, 29 in what will be his seventh season in Los Angeles.
While he commands one of the biggest contracts amongst quarterbacks in the league, the Chargers are yet to win a playoff game in his tenure.
He will be hoping 2026 is the year he can add a Super Bowl ring to his new engagement ring.

Herbert completes offseason of love in NFL
It’s been the offseason of love for many players across the league.
The most notable, of course, being Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift tying the knot during Fourth of July weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
MVP-runner up Drake Maye also got married to his high school sweetheart Ann Michael Maye this offseason.
Cleveland Browns rookie KC Concepcion got engaged to Texas A&M basketball player Lemyah Hylton.
Veteran journeyman QB Tyrod Taylor proposed to Dr. Bianka Charity-Parker in March during their vacation to Italy.
With training camp now under way, the focus quickly shifts back to football, and whether his off-field bliss can finally translate to postseason success under Harbaugh.

Chargers fans are hoping that the ring on Beer’s finger is just the first of two rings Herbert brings back to Los Angeles this season.
