Vinicius Jr has reportedly undergone chin surgery upon his arrival in Brazil – leaving former Chelsea midfielder Ramires stunned by his transformation.
The 26-year-old was a bright spark in what was a disappointing World Cup in North America for the Seleccao.
Brazil were dumped out in the last-16 to Norway in what is their earliest exit in the global tournament since 1990.
Vini Jr finished as their top scorer in the competition with four strikes, while he also chipped in with one assist from five outings.
New look for Vini Jr
The two-time Champions League winner ultimately headed back to Europe to vacation in Spain and Italy.
He has even squeezed in a return to his homeland before he reports back for Los Blancos pre-season duty.
And according to Brazilian news outlet Leo Dias, the winger has gone under the knife for a cosmetic facial procedure.
It has been claimed that the operation occurred on Monday at a clinic in Goiania, which was performed by renowned dermatologist
Dr. Alessandro Alarcao.
The doctor flew from Miami to Brazil specifically to treat Vini Jr, who is claimed to have wanted to add more definition to his chin.
Leaked pictures have since emerged of the forward following his minor surgery, which has seen some fans likening him to former Chelsea midfielder Ramires.
An Instagram page specialising in memes put up a picture of Vini Jr and Ramires from his playing days, jokingly celebrating the former joining the latter’s ex-club Palmeiras.
And Ramires was quick to see the funny side of the comparison, as he simply quipped, ‘You guys are joking around a lot, lol,’ accompanied with a laughing face emoji.

Many fans have also suggested the two now look similar, as one X user posted: “Vini Jr we know you love the number 7 you didn’t have to turn to Ramires.”
Another commented: “He looks more like Ramires than Vinicius.”
A third added: “Vini Jr turned into Ramires.”
Meanwhile, fans have also likened him to popular Brazilian singer Mumuzinho, who has taken to social media to join in on the fun.
Sharing a video of himself on Instagram, he joked: “Hey everyone! I want to know what you thought.
“I was recently in Goiania, where I was very well received, and I really liked the result, I’m seeing all the media talking about it.
“Now I’m going to enjoy myself because people are talking about it.”
What is next for Vini Jr?
Vini Jr will soon return to Madrid, where he has just one year left on his contract.
Speculation has been rife that Real could look to cash in on the player this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer, but club president Florentino Perez has stressed that isn’t the case.
He said last month: “Vini is one of the best players in the world and he is delighted to be a Madrid player.
“He was decisive in winning the last two European Cups and he has one year left on his contract.
“There is still time, but I tell you Vinicius wants to stay at Madrid and I want him to stay.”
