Hilary Knight, the captain of the U.S. Women’s ice hockey team in the 2026 Winter Olympics, is marking her fifth time wearing the sweater for Team USA at the Winter Games.

And on Saturday, she moved one step closer to Team USA immortality.

During Team USA’s 5-0 rout of Finland, Knight scored her second goal of the 2026 Winter Olympics, and her 14th career goal for Team USA at the Winter Games.

That pulled her level with Natalie Darwitz and Katie King for first on the all-time list for Team USA.

Knight’s second goal of the 2026 Winter Olympics came with the United States on the power play midway through the second period. Knight pulled in a pass from Laila Edwards just in front of the goalie, and lifted a blocker-side shot to the upper shelf to give Team USA a 4-0 lead:

Knight’s first goal of the tournament came in Team USA’s opening win over Czechia, and it came at a critical moment in that contest. Team USA had just conceded to see their lead cut to 3-1, but that’s when Knight did this:

With two goals in two games, Knight is level with immortality.

The next goal will see her stand alone.
