Tony Adams is £4million richer after selling his Cotswolds mansion to music icon Liam Gallagher.
The Arsenal legend initially listed the property in 2025, with Gallagher buying the former defender’s home following the success of the Oasis reunion tour.
Earnings are reportedly in excess of £100million after Liam and brother Noel returned to the stage.
Adams made the decision to sell the property he had owned since 2002 in order for his wife, Poppy Teacher, to attend university.
London calling
“This is a new era for us,” the former Arsenal captain told the Mail earlier this week.
“We’ve sold the house and are returning to London. My wife is going back to school.”
On his new home, Adams said: “We are now renting while we find a new home in north London.
“We’re not going back to the Chelsea area where all the Blues are.”
Teacher, meanwhile, added: “I told Tony I wanted to do early modern history.
“And he said, ‘How do you monetise that?’ And I said, ‘You don’t!’
“But I think he’s proud. He’s telling everyone I’m doing a PhD, but it’s a masters.
“I’ve brought up the children, but now I need to use my brain again.

“Tony and I want to have a London life, do things like go to galleries.”
As for Gallagher, he has admitted that he’s loving life after moving to the Cotswolds.
When asked if he had any friendly neighbours, the singer replied: “They’re absolutely incredible.
“They have not stopped baking me cakes and scones.”
Gallagher actually bought the property for £250,000 below the initial £4.25m asking price.
The eight-bedroom country manor is set across five-acres of land, and comes with a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and a two-bedroom cottage.
