Jack Fincham has released a statement after his bare knuckle boxing defeat to Aaron Chalmers.
The pair met in a rematch at BKB 57 in London on Saturday night.
Chalmers won the first meeting between the two former reality television stars in September 2025.
On that occasion, the Geordie Shore favourite secured a second round TKO victory over Fincham.
Doctor stoppage
However, their rematch failed to make it out of the first round after the doctor was forced to step in.
It came as Fincham was left with blood pouring down his face due to a nasty cut above his right eye.
The referee has initially stopped the fight to allow the former Love Island winner to receive treatment.
With the doctor unable to stop the bleeding, though, Chalmers was awarded a TKO victory at the Indigo at the O2.
It extends his bare knuckle boxing record to 3-1 as he rebounded from a knockout loss to Darren Till.
The former UFC title challenger had claimed victory over Chalmers when they fought in Birmingham in May at BKFC 90.
Chalmers has previous MMA and boxing experience including an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather in 2023.
Meanwhile, his MMA record stands at 5-2 after stints in BAMMA and Bellator.
Fincham statement
Following the fight, Fincham took to social media to provide an update for his followers.
Reflecting on the fight in an Instagram post, he wrote: “Not the result I wanted last night. The fight was stopped on a cut, and that’s bare knuckle for ya out my hands. No excuses.
“Fair play to Aaron. Strong, tough and exactly what I expected. I wish him nothing but the best moving forward.
“This was my first fight since rehab. A few months ago I wasn’t even sure I’d ever walk to a ring again.
“To walk out in my hometown, under the lights, on a @bkbbareknuckle show meant more to me than most people will ever know.
“It takes a pair of b to step into that Trigon, and I’m proud I had the courage to do it.

Fincham’s only previous bare knuckle experience came when he fought Chalmers last year.
However, he has contested exhibition and modified rules boxing bouts in the past.
The most recent of those saw him win a decision against Shaw Wynter at Streetbeefz 5 in March 2025.
