Carlos Alcaraz and Elena Rybakina won in Australia, before Alexander Zverev and Mirra Andreeva claimed their first Grand Slams in France.

Wimbledon saw Jannik Sinner collect back-to-back titles whilst Linda Noskova became the youngest women’s champion in 15 years.

At last year’s US Open, it was Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka who were the victors in front of a captivated audience.

And we are now just days away from watching some of the very best players that tennis has to offer competing for a coveted honour.

When is the 2026 US Open?

The 2026 edition of the US Open officially begins on Sunday, August 23 for the start of Fan Week.

This is when the newly-formatted Mixed Doubles Championship takes place, with an eight-team qualifying schedule starting on August 24.

August 26 is when the final is staged – last year’s winners were Italian duo Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori.

Men’s and women’s singles qualifying are also scheduled for this week before their first rounds commence on Sunday, August 30.
