Daniel Farke’s side go into this derby, hoping to make it four wins on the bounce in pre-season, after defeating RB Leipzig in a two-hour-long contest last Saturday.
Leeds are unbeaten against the Red Devils in their last three meetings in all competitions, could bag back-to-back wins over Michael Carrick’s men after their memorable 2-1 victory back in April, gave them their first away win at Old Trafford since 1981.

Over 1.5 goals has landed in seven of the past eight meetings between the two rivals stretching back to 2021.

Especially with both sides possessing a cutting edge up front that will be hard to contain.
Marcus Rashford to score
Rashford may well lace up his boots and pull on a United shirt for the first time in over 18 months on Wednesday night.
Whether he’s playing for a move away or for a starting spot in Michael Carrick’s XI this season. He’ll want to impress either way.
Likely to start from the bench, he could well have an instant impact and hit the back of the net in a match that could be very transitional come the final 30 minutes.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score
Calvert-Lewin has looked refreshed after the summer break and has been sharp in front of goal for Leeds in pre-season.
If he starts on Wednesday, he should be a handful for the Man Utd defence. He’s found his form in Yorkshire and could get amongst the goals again here.
