U.S. spot bitcoin and ether exchange-traded funds recorded a combined $706 million in net inflows on Wednesday, according to data cited by Bitcoin.com News, as bitcoin's move above $70,000 drew institutional capital back into the market.

Bitcoin ETFs took in $517.19 million, the strongest daily inflow since May 4, with eight funds reporting fresh capital and none recording an outflow. Ether funds added $189.15 million, with no fund seeing redemptions, while XRP and solana ETFs also finished higher.

BlackRock Leads Bitcoin ETF Inflows

BlackRock's IBIT was the top performer, pulling in $284.74 million, more than half of bitcoin's daily total. ARK 21Shares' ARKB added $77.71 million, Fidelity's FBTC attracted $62.41 million, and Bitwise's BITB followed with $35.60 million. Grayscale's GBTC and Bitcoin Mini Trust contributed $21.18 million and $19.66 million, respectively, while Morgan Stanley's MSBT brought in $9.98 million and Franklin Templeton's EZBC completed the inflows with $5.92 million.

Trading activity surged alongside the price move. Bitcoin ETF turnover reached $6.89 billion, while combined net assets climbed to $84.31 billion, roughly $5 billion above Tuesday's level. Over three trading sessions this week, bitcoin ETFs have seen exactly $1 billion in inflows.

Ether ETFs Post Broad Gains

Ether ETFs delivered a similarly broad advance. BlackRock's ETHA collected $122.12 million, Fidelity's FETH added $36.54 million, Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust attracted $16.04 million, and BlackRock's ETHB brought in $9.71 million. Smaller additions came through Morgan Stanley's MSSE, Grayscale's ETHE, and Franklin Templeton's EZET, with no ether fund recording an outflow. Total trading value reached $2.14 billion, while net assets rose to $12.06 billion.

XRP and Solana Rise, HYPE Faces Selling

XRP ETFs added $2.35 million, split almost evenly between Bitwise's XRP fund and Franklin Templeton's XRPZ, pushing net assets back above $1 billion to $1.01 billion. Solana ETFs finished with a $2.10 million inflow, with Bitwise's BSOL attracting $5.63 million, offsetting withdrawals of $3.12 million from Grayscale's GSOL and about $415,000 from Invesco's QSOL.

HYPE ETFs moved against the broader trend with a $1.97 million outflow. That selling arrived alongside a regulatory signal for Hyperliquid: speaking at a White House event with technology leaders, President Donald Trump said CFTC Chairman Mike Selig was working to bring Hyperliquid into the U.S. in a fully compliant and legal fashion. HYPE briefly jumped from around $62 to $72.30 following the remarks, a gain of roughly 16%.

Wednesday's session showed how quickly momentum can return when price and institutional demand align. Bitcoin and ether captured the bulk of the capital, while XRP and solana also benefited from the broader risk-on move.
